I don’t usually dress up when I’m going for a walk with my baby but that morning I was trying my new blouse and Ethan gave me the biggest smile I’ve ever seen, so I decided to break the rule and wear something nice. Should we (new moms), always wear stretchy pants and T shirts, well, I know it’s comfy, but no matter how exhausted I am I still want to look and feel pretty 🙂 To make the outfit look dressier all I needed to do is to change my comfy flats to elegant pumps… and voila… What do you think ladies?

Now it’s time for the link up and don’t forget that the theme for our next Monday Bloom challenge is “Delicate Pastels” or as I call it “Macaron Shades”, so save the date – September 30th, style the look (it has to be a new post) and join our Monday Bloom Challenge!!!

  • It is sad to see how some women after delivering a baby stop dressing up and give priority to just comfortable clothes which often means wearing jeans/t-shirt combination. It is nice that you “broke the rule” and wore this wonderful outfit.

    • elena

I agree, as a result, by the time the baby is big enough, women get used to wear pants and forget how to dress up ;( thank you for your sweet comment!!!

  • I love this outfit…you look absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for hosting the link up!

    • elena

    • elena

Haha thanks hun;) I wish my friends who have kids told be that babies love bold prints and jewelry, Ethan looked at me with different eyes! 😉 lesson learned, need to go shopping for cute necklaces;)

  • It’s definitely fun to just dress up for no reason, and sometimes pretty clothes can be just as comfy as sweatpants and sweaters. You just have to wear the right kind dressy clothes–I’m a huge fan of comfy clothes that look nice, too!

  • So cute! I absolutely love that print!

  • You look great! I love the polka dots with the skirt and cap toe heels!!

I totally agree!!!!! When I first had my son, I was absolutely exhausted. If I would have left the house like how I felt, I would have always left in yoga pants and t-shirts. I made an effort every day to dress up and I felt better about myself. Love the apple top today. Thanks for the link up. Stop by and join my weekly link up this thursday.

  • You look stunning. Love the apple blouse and the heels are to die for.

  • I remember feeling that way with each baby. I feel like that now as I have been sick for weeks and dressing in pajamas or yoga pants and t’s, unless I have to visit the doctor. I’m even starting to miss eyeliner. Love this look! You look so beautiful! Great blouse!!.

I linked up with you. Show off your look at Whatcha Wearing Wednesday! Come link up with me and get inspired!

    • elena

I agree, I experienced that nothing can be more comfy than spending the day in yoga pants but than I got bored looking in the mirror, so dressing up is a great way to make the day brighter:)
