Hi everyone,
The DC Fashion Week is over, and should I sigh with relief? The shows I attended disappointed me and didn’t inspire me at all. It’s hard to accept the idea that DC is the place for policy not for fashion. I know for a fact that there are so many talented and creative designers in our city and still the quality of our local fashion shows is so poor. I’ll stay optimistic and hope that next Fashion Week will be on the level we all want it to be. “DC Fashion has the potential to make its mark in the fashion world but not with this poor representation from DCFW,” says DC blogger Ariana. I know that today’s post is quite negative, forgive me for that, just couldn’t keep it for myself after the Fashion Week failure!
Have a fabulous day
Love
Elena

What a bummer about the lack of inspiration at the shows. Hopefully that will change one day!

I will hope for a better change, finally a lot of people started to talk about this problem.
Well, at least you get to have Fashion Week where you live. In Luxembourg it doesn’t exist…

AW…that’s sad that fashion week didn’t turn out to be what you hoped it to be. I bet there’s some fab fashion to be found in DC! I loved visiting when I went!

Of course it’s a place for fashion!

That’s bad, I hope it changes soon, I bet there are many talented unknown designers over there waiting to show at the fashion week.
Thanks for your comment
Oh…sorry to hear Fashion week has been a bit of a let down for you.
That’s a bummer about DCFW, I felt the same way about Michigan Fashion Week and Detroit Fashion Week. Very disappointing, and it’s sad because I know there is great local talent! :/ Guess I’ll just have to get over to NYFW some year…
