Monday Bloom

asos, shorts, summer look, style blog, art by Elena FayI mentioned before that I wear shorts all the time during hot summer, and I think there is nothing wrong with that. It’s hot hot hot in Washington DC and I want to feel comfortable. That is why shorts were invented, right?:) This time I wanted to try something different and bought these longline shorts that are pretty and cozy, the only thing is, I wish the fabric was a little bit lighter. To make this outfit more elegant I paired these shorts with super cute “polka squares” sleeveless top from LM and wedges. What is your favorite piece this summer?asos, shorts, summer look, style blog, art by Elena FayLongline shorts- Asos(buy here)

Really love that blouse and coincidentally, my favorite piece this summer has been the sleeveless button down. I talk about that on the blog today

  • I’ve been all about shorts this summer, too! It’s my first summer being home, so I’m able to dress more casually. What I love about your longer shorts is that you could actually wear them to work with that pretty top and those wedges!

  • Beautiful summer look. So chic!

Hope you had a great weekend.

  • SO pretty, I love this color combo!

  • I love the bright red. Washington is hot during the summer. That humidity is a killer. We have the same here. Shorts or dresses that show the legs are a must at this time of year.

  • I love to wear maxis during the summer. They are perfect from day to night with adding a cardigan. You look so pretty with the longer length shorts, these would make me look so frumpy.

  • Cute Iook! I like the “polka” squares top. 🙂 I’m not sure i have a favorite summer piece as of yet. Maybe it’s my chucks.

  • lovely outfit!
