I remember the excitement of finding this gorgeous hi-low skirt and one shoulder top last year and the fact that hi-low is not popular anymore makes me really sad. Every single time I wore these items, the sun was brighter and the smiles were wider that is why I wanted to add some sunshine to this day. Gray heavy clouds in the sky is not the reason to wear dark, don’t you agree? Lucky Community and their partner Dasani Drops host this super fun challenge of best looks in pink, red, purple and yellow—inspired by the flavors of Dasani Drops. I decided to pick my favorite looks in yellow, for some reason I feel that these are my lucky outfits:) Would be grateful to see your votes here! And don’t forget to share your beautiful look with Monday Bloom Link Up!!!!

“Oreshki” or walnut shaped cookies is one of my favorite Russian dessert!!! These crunchy cookies filled with dulce de leche (cooked condensed milk) are absolutely delicious and super cute. We baked these cookies while I was in Russia this summer and I still can’t forget the amazing aroma and the taste of it. So today I decided to share this recipe with you:) The recipe itself is quite easy, but you’ll need the special bakery form that you can find here or here.
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 can cooked condensed milk
½ cup sugar
¼ tsp baking soda
1 T vinegar
250 gr unsalted butter
3 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
Whisk sugar with eggs
Mix vinegar with soda
Combine mixture of sugar and eggs, vinegar mixtures with flour, vanilla to make dough
Divide the dough into small balls and fill in walnut forms with dough
Bake them on both sides over an open flame for about 5mins each or until golden brown. Use the “condensed milk-chopped wall nuts” filling to put two shells together.
Enjoy the most delicious dessert!!!
Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.
The weather is still beautiful and we enjoy nice sunny days, but we know that the summer is over and we are ready for the transitions. Today I decided to post some of my favorite SPRING/SUMMER looks. I already got several cute sweaters for colder weather so now I’m ready for fall!:) Are you???
And the Friday Inspiration is back!!! Today I’d like to introduce you to Federica and her amazing blog Vanilla and Soap. Federica is such a beauty and she inspired me to create something different for this Friday post-the charcoal drawing instead of CG illustration.
