Winter Blues

boden top, look of the day, winter fun, fur mittens, blue jeansHere is the proof that I’m from cold Russia:))winter blues, skinny jeans, boden top, winter bootsfur mittens and boden topwinter blues, skinny jeans, boden top, winter bootsI’ve been dying to wear my mittens this winter. My sister brought them from Russia a while ago but winters in DC are not that severe so I had to wait to take them for a walk:) Our streets are finally covered with snow, well, the mix of salt, sand and a little bit of snow, but I don’t care, it’s freezing cold so I can wear my lovely mittens. The only negative is, my coat is all covered with fur -looks like 20 rabbits slept on it:) Don’t lough at me when I tell you that these skinny jeans are maternity pants 🙂 Yep, you heard me wright!!! The color is so rich and pretty, they are so comfortable and look perfect with my new Boden top– it’s just hard to say no to them.

  • Ah yes, I’ve had the same thing happen with angora sweaters…the fibers stick to anything wool! No matter, you look adorable! It’s nice to link up with DC In Style. It’s been a while for me.

    • I’m so glad to see you linking up again!! Ugh, so true, it sticks to anything, the only solution is to get a small roller(the sticky one) to carry in the bag

The rich color of the pants is wonderful. I have beads that color and they are very popular. Stay warm.

The blue looks so gorgeous against the snow and I love the detail on your blouse. Very pretty 🙂

  • Corinne C

You don’t need snow to wear mittens! It hardly ever snows here but we still use the good old mittens a lot of the time. Actually, we don’t usually wear them when it does snow because the country kind of falls apart and nobody leaves home. Ha.

I really love that top, it looks so smart and chic!
